Banking & Finance Associate – Dubai / Abu Dhabi – Morgan Lewis Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with 30+ offices worldwide, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its growing international Banking & Finance practice. This is an opportunity to build an international career within a top-tier global platform, working on cross-border financing matters for high-profile clients. This position is open in the Firm’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices; however, the practice supports matters across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, as well as other jurisdictions globally. Candidate profile You will ideally have: ∙ a law degree from a top Russian university or a leading law school in a common law jurisdiction ∙ fluency in English and Russian (Arabic is an advantage) ∙ a strong command of English contract law ∙ solid familiarity with LMA documentation ∙ a working understanding of Russia-related international sanctions and sanctions compliance in cross-border transactions is an advantage ∙ solid familiarity with project finance transactions is an advantage ∙ experience gained at a prominent international law firm is an advantage Admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction (UK, any US state, Hong Kong, Australia, etc.) is a strong advantage, but not a prerequisite.
